A taste of the country on Adelaide's back doorstep.
The MRA represents the interests of ratepayers in the Adelaide Hills Council section of Rostrevor, immediately adjacent to Morialta Conservation Park.
Morialta is part of the Adelaide Hills Council area and distinct from the other, densely built areas of Rostrevor, which are covered by Campbelltown Council. Morialta is characterised by giant red gums, significant areas of remnant vegetation, large open blocks, underground powerlines, the meandering Spring Gully Creek, abundant wildlife and the neighbouring Morialta Conservation Park.
Local residents have worked for more than 50 years to nurture this environment, paying to underground the area's electricity supply almost 30 years ago and planting and caring for areas of native vegetation.
The Morialta Residents' Association is committed to protecting and preserving this special environment, particularly when urban infill is so radically changing the face of suburban Adelaide.
The Morialta Residents' Association area is bound by Arcoona Avenue, Stradbroke Road, Spring Gully Road and Wandilla Drive, Rostrevor.
